First of all, I'm a shading whore. I felt the piece could have used shading, but that's just my opinion. I guess I can't tell you how to do things, so if it's your "style" not to shade, fine. I just mentioned something that seemed off to me.

Also, since you've never tried, I can't be 100% sure you wouldn't be as good as them. But judging from what I've SEEN, they seem to have more talent than you. Again, that's not to say you suck or anything, just that they're better.

And uhm, yeah, from what I can see...you are just small minded. The piece was well done whether you'll accept that or not, and didn't deserve such flames.

I don't find a point in arguing this, but like...next time you don't like something, say something more constructive or less offensive than, "what the fuck?"

First off, the only criticisizing I did was saying that I thought it was a little flat. It was very well detailed, but it has a lack of shading that threw me off. That's all. There's a big difference between trying to give a helpful critique and saying "what the fuck." Saying "what the fuck" isn't going to help the artist improve.

I also said that they were better than you..becuase, uh, they are. Nothing against you, you're not a bad artist. You're just not as good. And the "they use psp/ps" argument is weak. In the art communities I'm in, people make big deals out of "oh I made this with MSPAint! My poooor hands!" Like using MSPaint is an excuse for poor art. Your art isn't poor, but the program you used to make it has nothing to do with it's quality.

And uhm, if you thought that it shouldn't have been on the front page, you should have said, "I don't know why this is on the front page."...not "what the fuck?" And I just think you're small minded, because the piece IS good, and IS well composed. The only thing "bad" about it is that it has some furre action. If those had all been 100% human girls, with the same quality, I highly doubt you would have left a negative comment. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

And yes. PS2s aren't round. But they're also not flat like a piece of paper. They're 3d, that's where shading would come in. Your piece had...a strong lack of shading.
